Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

We put our caregivers through a comprehensive screening process before our company hires them. Each caregiver is given a one-on-one interview so that we can learn everything about their background and their future ambitions. Most importantly, our caregivers must pass a drug test and criminal background check.

Our team is comprised of many caregivers. If one caregiver gets sick, we can simply ask another caregiver on our team to fill in for them.

You won't need to pay the caregiver anything directly. Our company manages all of the payments for you. In fact, we even manage your insurance claims, taxes, and other administrative tasks.

Absolutely. Simply give us a call and let us know about the change in your schedule. We will accommodate your scheduling needs without any issues.

Although seniors are our most typical clients, our services are available to everybody. It doesn't matter if you're a mother who recently gave birth or a young adult who suffered a terrible accident. If you need to recover from surgery, illness, or some other medical problem or disorder, then our services are perfect for your home care needs.

You only need a certified caregiver if they are going to give you medical-related care. You don't need a certified caregiver for basic services like housekeeping, transportation, and cooking. But if the caregiver is going to administer medication, bathe you or help you with your physical therapy, then they need to be certified.

Some states might not require this certification, but we recommend you only hire a caregiver who is certified. Then you can be sure you're getting a true professional to provide you with these caregiving services.

There are pros and cons to both. For instance, you can expect to pay more money if you hire a caregiver through an agency. But for the money, you receive a qualified caregiver who provides a high-quality and professional service. Not only that, but the agency screens their caregivers before they send them to their clients' homes. It gives you extra security and peace of mind to know that your caregivers are true professionals with a verified background.

If you choose the cheaper route and go with a private caregiver, you won't have any guarantee of their background or experience. However, private caregivers are often more flexible in the number of hours they can work. For instance, if you only need the caregiver for a few hours, then you can request their services for that long. There are no minimum time lengths for their services.

Assisted living is a residential facility for people who need long-term care services. People live in the facility, where customized support and medical care are given to each resident. Each person gets their own apartment-like rooms, and they have access to housekeeping, community events, and meal preparation services.

Senior living is a term that refers to assisted care services designed for senior citizens. These could be services like cognitive care, assisted living, home health aide, independent living, and so on. Senior living doesn't involve medical treatments or nursing services. Senior living is more about basic services, such as cooking and housekeeping.

An assisted living facility can assist residents who require anywhere from a low level of care to a high level of care. The facility must possess the necessary license to offer services for a particular level of care. If the facility possesses a license for providing a high level of care, then they can also treat residents who need a lower or medium level of care as well.
